Let me introduce you to Mull…
I’m Eden, a printmaker and illustrator living and working on the Isle of Mull. My work is inspired by the rugged Scottish landscape and the quiet, wild moments that define life in the Hebrides.
Whether it’s an otter tucked into the seaweed at the water’s edge or a Highland Cow wading through a mist-covered loch, every piece I create is rooted in the time I spend exploring this island.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me hiking through the hills or scrambling along the coast - gathering the inspiration that eventually becomes a carving on my workbench.
Why Printmaking?
In a world of mass production, I believe in the beauty of the handmade. My primary process is relief printing, an old and tactile form of printmaking.
Each design is meticulously hand-carved into a block before being inked and pulled through my etching press right here on Mull. Because I press every print by hand, no two are identical; each one carries its own unique texture and character - a true Hebridean original.
Alongside my hand-pulled original prints, I create digital illustrations and greeting cards. These allow me to bring that same bold, island-inspired energy into everyday items.
When you buy from Isle & Ink, you aren’t just buying a print - you’re taking home a piece of the Isle of Mull, hand-crafted with care in the Hebrides.
